Agreement and Confirmation

Registration for the PelikulAgraryo: The Department of Agrarian Reform Central and Regional Film Festival Year 2 (DARCRFF 2026) constitutes full and unconditional agreement to comply with these Terms and Conditions. This agreement includes adherence to all specifications, mechanics, and guidelines as outlined in the official DARCRFF 2026 Mechanics & Guidelines document.
Content Submission

All content submitted must meticulously adhere to the specifications, mechanics, and guidelines delineated in the official DARCRFF 2026 Mechanics & Guidelines document. Participants acknowledge and agree that the organizing committee assumes no responsibility for any consequences arising from lost, damaged, unusable, corrupt, or unreadable content/files.

For participants below 18 years of age, submission of a duly accomplished consent form is obligatory. This consent form signifies parental or guardian consent to the terms and conditions of participation on behalf of the minor participant.

Once a film has been submitted, it may not be withdrawn from the festival unless agreed upon by the organizing committee in writing.

Responsibility for Submitted Content

Representatives are held solely responsible for the documents and content they submit under their registered name, as indicated in their respective registration forms. Participants are reminded that any content submitted does not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of the organizing committee of DARCRFF 2026.

The organizing committee of DARCRFF 2026 retains the unrestricted right, at any given time and without prior notice, to remove and delete any entry from competition, with or without cause, at its sole discretion.
Content Guidelines

Content submissions that include but are not limited to libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, racially, culturally, or ethnically offensive, harassing, intimidating, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, or abusive nature are strictly prohibited.

The organizers reserve the right to disqualify submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines or are deemed inappropriate.
Commercial Usage and Copyright

Participants are required to adhere to the agreement that entries must not be commercially aired, published, or distributed prior to and during the competition. DARCRFF reserves the right to remove or disqualify entries found in violation of this condition. In the event of copyright-related issues, participants will be promptly informed of the removal of their entry.

All intellectual property rights on submitted content are retained by the respective participants. Any breach of this agreement may lead to disqualification and potential legal action.
Rights Granted to the Department of Agrarian Reform Central and Regional Film Festival Organization Committee

Upon submission of content, participants provide DARCRFF with the unreserved right to view their entries for purposes of judging and public screenings.

Furthermore, participants authorize DARCRFF to employ posters and excerpts from their films in promotional materials. This authorization extends to the creation of teasers and advertisements promoting DARCRFF, physical screenings, campaigns, presentations, and other promotional endeavors.

The DACRFF Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify the schedule, screening venues, or any other aspect of the festival at their discretion. Any changes will be communicated to participants in advance. In case of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics), the festival may transition to a virtual event or reschedule screenings as necessary.
Ownership of Submitted Content

By submitting their entries, participants grant the organizers the right to post, screen, or exhibit the submitted material on its social media platforms, websites, or during official festival events for promotional purposes.

Winners of each region give presumptive authority to the organizers to air, use, post, screen, or exhibit the submitted material on social media platforms, websites, or platforms of their choice even after the festival period in sustained promotion of the advocacy of the event to promote ARBs and ARBOs.
Limitation of Liability

DARCRFF assumes no liability for any damage, loss of data, or other issues arising from online submissions. Participants are strongly advised to ensure the security and backup of their submitted data.
Data Privacy

All data submitted in the course of participation shall adhere to the Data Privacy Act of 2012 in the Philippines. Personal information shall remain strictly confidential and will be duly disposed of or destroyed in accordance with established protocols following the event.
Prizes and Awards

Films submitted to the festival may be eligible for awards in various categories (e.g., Best Film, Best Director, Best Cinematography, etc.) to be selected by a panel of judges whose decisions are final. No appeal or reconsideration will be permitted.

Prizes will be awarded based on the criteria specified by the festival, and may include cash awards, trophies, certificates, or other forms of recognition.

The festival reserves the right to withhold awards or prizes if no submissions meet the required standards.
Disqualification

A submission may be disqualified if the participant breaches any of these terms and conditions or provides false or misleading information during the submission process.

Films that infringe on copyright, or any legal rights of others, may be immediately disqualified.
Amendments

The organizers reserve the right to modify the contest rules at any time and make final decisions on matters not covered by these rules.
Effectivity Period

All rights detailed in this agreement shall be effective immediately upon submission of the entry and shall persist in perpetuity.

This agreement is subject to revisions and updates, and participants are strongly encouraged to review its contents periodically
